On Monday May 17 2010, Western Australia’s Top Seven Miss Universe finalists put their cooking skills to the test in the Ronald McDonald House kitchen. As part of the Make A Meal program, the girls cooked dinner for families spending time at the House, who have travelled far from home so their children receiving medical treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital can have them close by for much needed support.
Thanks to Farmer Jacks in Subiaco, the seven finalists were equipped with plenty of ingredients to cook up a storm. They organised a menu of homemade pizzas and cupcakes that went down a treat. The girls even received special requests for take-away pizzas from kids in PMH who couldn’t leave their beds.
