Bunbury Christmas Fun Day

Bunbury Christmas Fun Day

Thanks to the generous bidders at the 2013 Royal Queensbury Championship boxing event, ToyBox International has been able to fund amongst other grants, a line up of Fun Days for Camp Quality children living with cancer and their families.

The 8th December 2013 Bunbury Regional Support Team Fun Day saw seven families descend on Bunbury Foreshore for an afternoon of fun and valuable family time.

Families were treated to a BBQ with fresh salads and there was no shortage of entertainment for the kids! The whacky Wescarpade cars were on display and surprised the kids when santa jumped out of one of the vehicles. Santa handed out lollies and took christmas list wishes from the kids. The Wescarpade clown car was a favourite and the driver and his navigators were dressed from head to toe in costume.

The local Eaton Fire and Rescue Service also visited, and the children were delighted when they were allowed to practice their fire-fighting skills and wet the fireman with the hoses off the truck.

"It is always inspiring to see the kids enjoying the moment. Thank you to the volunteers that supported us and of course sponsor ToyBox International." Said the Fun Day Leader, Mr Brian Hovey.

A huge thankyou to Greg Stevens from Universal Coatings for his generous donation to ToyBox International which made this day possible.
